[ Maya, meet Shana. Shana's a tiny little girl also skating around at the neutron diner, waiting tables. In between cars she hangs around with a sour expression on hs face, though. ]

[Why, hello my tiny coworker! Maya approaches her on skates between rushes, noting the long face.]

Hey, you alright?

[flameyedhunter]

I'm fine! [ She says, a little too quickly and loudly. ]

[itswhoopasstime]

[Maya looks almost alarmed by the curtness of Shana's response.]

Oh. I can leave you alone, if you like. [She pauses.] Are you sure you're alright?

[flameyedhunter]

Well... I guess maybe you can help me with some of these orders, we just got a lot of cars in.

[ Shana gestures towards several vehicles that just pulled in. ]

On it! I'll get the left three, you get the right?

[She smiles brightly as she starts to skate towards the door.]

Right! Let's do it! [ She skates off to serve and lap pour, if any of the boys get fresh. ]

[Maya cheerfully skates off in the opposite direction, also keeping the option of lap-pouring open. She's only had to do it once, so far, but...

A few minutes later, she skates back inside and makes her way behind the counter to pass her orders to the kitchen.]

[ Shana does the same, emulating Maya, and pauses for a few minutes until the food is prepared. ]
