Bitter

I'm bitter. Not emo, really, just bitter. This probably happens about once or twice a month. Don't know where it comes from and I don't know why, but I woke up bitter today ( Read more... )

Yeah, I know you felt that way about Stefanie. The funny thing was, I never was really bothered by Stef's relationships, but I think you might have been around her a bit more often (especially after I went to NDA). Her relationships never really seemed to interfere with our hanging out times, since we didn't hang out all the time to begin with.

I'm actually mostly over it now, after getting a bunch of people's perspectives (One person explained it that even if his best friend isn't around, he can still imagine his friend's voice and reaction to things, but if his girlfriend isn't around, imagining kissing her and whatnot doesn't work the same way). I think it just depends on the friend though, really. Some really do do this, and I think it's our responsibility to keep them in check sometimes (at least Sex and the City tells me that's okay to do :D).

But yeah, dealing with the bitterness is a useful skill to learn. I've definitely dealt poorly with it before, as a few of my friends know (this time went ok though). :D

Anyway, now who's rambling? :D
