PICTURES!
Sorry for the really long delay, guys. I just started my my job (interning at a company) on Monday and I don't get home until at least 8:00 each night, and by then I'm exhausted and barely have the energy to check my f-list (but don't worry, I still read all of your entries <3) :| But I FINALLY uploaded pictures from my trip to Japan and Hong Kong since I had some time this weekend. :)
I made the pictures small so it wouldn't kill your computer :) Just click to make it bigger! There is still quite a number of pictures though, so if your computer freezes, I'M SORRY. D:
First, some sightseeing pictures...
Ginza- it kind of reminded me of Fifth Avenue in New York.
Takeshita Street in Harajuku- DON'T GO THERE WITH YOUR PARENTS. Cuz everyone there is like in their 20's or younger, haha. So if you're with your parents (like I was) then you just feel kind of awkward :|
Shinjuku at night... I took this picture when I was walking back to my hotel from HMV (where I bought SS501's Lucky Days, hehe.)
Atami- this place was sooooo gorgeous. We stayed at a ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel) and the hotel was HUGE. I felt like I was on an island resort somewhere, haha.
Dinner on tatami mats :)
The hotel room in Atami... with beds on the floor. The beds were actually pretty comfy.
Took the shinkansen (bullet train) from Atami to Osaka. I took a video of a train passing through the station and it takes about 10 seconds total for the whole train to go through o__o
Osaka castle.
View of Osaka from the top of the castle.
Kobe Chinatown.. the smallest Chinatown in Japan. We ate Kobe beef there. :D
Kobe Harborland... this place looks so pretty at night. :)
Nara park... they let deer wander out in the open there. So don't go there if you don't like deer, lol.
A vending machine that dispenses drinks in CUPS. How awesome is that. :D
View of Kyoto from some temple (can't remember the name at the moment). The big thing in the middle is Kyoto Tower.
Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori in Osaka. This place is AWESOME for shopping. But really packed with people.
This is a picture I took in Hong Kong- there was a Guiness World Records card stacker/card house builder, Bryan Berg, building a model of the Beijing Olympic athlete village in the Langham Place mall.. which is a really cool mall by the way, so you should go there if you ever go to Hong Kong. :D They have this extremely long escalator that takes like five minutes to go up, haha.
Now, for the FANGIRLING PICTURES. YAY. Hahaha. :)
Vending machines are EVERYWHERE in Japan. And by everywhere, I mean literally on every street corner. So basically, you can see Matsujun, Oguri, SMAP, and Masami everywhere you go. :)
NEWS' Russ-K CM playing in front of a store on Takeshita Street in Harajuku. I stopped to watch (and take a picture, of course) LOL. When I first walked onto Takeshita Street, I heard NEWS' Summer Time playing and I got so excited. :DD
Arashi on a cell phone ad. I took a copy of the cell phone catalogue just because it had their picture on it, haha.
Hugeeee Toshiba billboard in Dotonbori. I was like OMG when I saw it :O
The Johnny's shop in Osaka! I had to ask a bunch of people for directions, lol. And I didn't get to stay for very long either, since my family wanted to go eat. Otherwise I would've stayed for hours to look at all the pictures... haha. But I'm still glad I was able to go :)
I actually uploaded more pictures that I was going to put in this entry, but then I realized that my computer would die if I had to wait for all the pictures to load every time I clicked on this entry to reply to a comment. Sooo I'll just give you guys the
link to the LJ gallery that I made for these pictures, and you can look at them if you want. :)
And also, happy belated birthday to
mila_kamenashi! Hope you had a great birthday. :)
