wow...my first day off since june 21!!
i think that this is the beginning of the BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.
wednesday night was the crew event @ Montana's, and i needed it desperately. so many people ended up coming!! and dick, case, laura, and rob came after the nasco ended too!! :)i brought the rest of my chicken fingers home to pack for my lunch at work yesterday. *sigh*...i love my crew right now.
work yesterday was fun...we were actually running a double-triple for most of the day, which is stellar with everything at max. i had my earliest rescue ever -- 10:45am. ghetto. kids need to learn how to swim. darn 447s...and just when i had straightened my hair, too. :( ah well, it counts for something in the end, anyway. we closed at 6:30pm, but it took nearly an hour to get everyone out of south side and to take down the funbrellas so that they don't catch fire from the fireworks lit on the pathway. and i had to get changed at the employee services washrooms. but then...I GOT TO SEE SHAWN!! *yiay* he picked me up from work yesterday, and it was awesome. i love being around hm, and when it's been over 2 months, it feels awesome just to be able to reach out and grab them. we came back to my house and he had a few of the beers that i bought for him, erin had a mike's hard cranberry, and i had a smirnoff ice. then we went to the park and yelled at some stupid 16 year old kids for shooting fireworks at each other while running in very close proximity to A) a forest, B) my house, and C) erin, shawn, and myself. yup, we almost got hit. stupid kids. so we did our fireworks and then came back inside to watch Whose Line. w00t. erin went to bed, shawn and i went downstairs and played mario party and then jeff got home. shawn's currently upstairs, sleeping on my couch. i'm quite surprised that my parents let him stay over, and that they're allowing me to stay over at his house for the next two nights as well. this is awesome.
we're going to Mandarin for lunch, and we have to be @ Medieval Times for 6:30pm-ish. i haven't been to Mandarin in over a year, and Medieval Times in about 5 years. i'm SO excited!! eeeeeee!! then tomorrow we're going to see a movie and i'm eating dinner with his parents. *nervousness!!* but it should all work out fine. i'm happy right now. altho i missed the Brad Pitt movie night last night...and i'm missing lisa's birthday party tonight, but i found out that i was invited (!!) to it a few days ago, and i made the reservations @ Medieval Times over a week ago. ah well, you can't win em all.
