and now, for some GOOD news...
so the first thing she does when she gets home is complain about howe long it takes to walk across the farm and the snow and slush that's there...if you don't like doing it, DON'T DO IT!! there are plenty of other ways to get home without walking through the farm. so suck it up and take the friggin bus.
on a happier note...
so, i got an email from Rob yesterday morning saying that i got an interview for sup!! which was xciting, seeing as i just really wanted to do an interview. i was so worried that i wouldn't get an interview, so i spent a ton of time preparing my cover letter and resume for this...w00t!! my interview will be via telephone in january, so i'll probably be a tad less nervous than usual.
dying my hair yesterday, i get a phone call from my mother...they're surprising me by calling me 18 hours in advance that they're going to visit me, and will be in Ottawa by 11:30am. even though i'm going to see them in two weeks when i go home for the weekend. and i still had to clean my room, the living room, the dining room, and shawn was coming over friday night and staying over til saturday!! oh man, i was stressed!!
finished cleaning and everything, parents came over, bringing lots of food, a new carpet, some clothes for me, a WYD backpack, and Christmas-y type things. I got them to take wioth them the Christmas presents i had bought and wrapped for my Mom and for Shawn, and in the end, as a last minute realization, they took Aja too. So now i only have Blackie and Jet Li, (my two goldfish), to keep me company in my room. they took me and shawn out to dinner at Kelsey's, where i enjoyed my traditional apple strudel. yummy :) and it was good.
and now for the important part...I GOT A NEW COMPY!! yessiree bob, no more random restarting for me!! ahh, this makes me so happy!! i'm now no longer stressed that the essay i'm writing will completely disappear on me if i don't save after every word that i type. it's great!! w00t!! w00t!! w00t!!
and now i find out that Ian's coming in two weeks to visit Alex, which means i might be able to steal some time as well!! i can't wait!! December is gonna rock so hard!! we're only 4 days in, and it's already kicked November's ass!! *yiay!!*
