1st update since . . . ???

So i've moved into my new house now (oooOOOooo) and i'm all settled in. i've got a new fishie and a betta, and Aja has a home. my budgeting is okay but good for now. anyone wanna come up to visit, send me an email and i'll let you know the scoop.
soooo...yeah. i've been busy. and since you all yell at me when i write super-long posts, i shall perform the "eljay cut maneuver" for all to ooh and aah at. then you may read them all at your leisure. w00t.
so Splash ended on labour day, right on sched. and as usual, i got home from dinner around 1am, and woke up at 3am to pack and leave for Ottawa. for the short time i was promoted, i made a lot of money in those two weeks. like, another half of my usual paycheque. it was nice. in short, i saved about $2000 up for the school year...not as good as i had intended. i got my ROE in the mail the other day...i made just shy of $6000 last summer. the Sharkies were okay, i had a new experience working north side and being in charge. my first opening went really smoothly, and we even opened early!! i got a new pin for having 10+ ACE awards and i looked quite purty in my new blue bathing suit and blue hat. and my new windbreaker (which i still have, btw...hehehe). so next year if you come to visit me, i'll be one of the 18 people in Splash wearing a blue hat & bathing suit. and possibly a radio!! *jumps with excitement* i'm not going to apply for sup just yet since i don't think i have enough experience as a lead to actually do a really good job as sup. oh, and my sunglasses got fixed before the end of summer...yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy. i miss Splash...but i'll see everyone at GC and at NASCO in the winter!! *muahahahaha*
So, I'm sitting outside of the CUSERT office when a lady comes up to me asks me where security is located.
"The department of safety is in Robertson Hall."
"No, I need the lost and found."
"Safety is probably a better place to go."
"Where's that???"
"In Robertson Hall. What do you need it for???" and she holds up this weaved shopping bag, you know, the kind that old ladies everywhere have??? and inside of it, there's 11 kittens, who all look to be no more than one month old. she hgad found them in the bag in the parking lot. so i took them over to safety with her, and sat with them for about 2 hours before anyone from the Ottawa animal control unit came to pick them up. i got especially attched to one which i named Tiger. but i couldn't keep any, since my housemates are allergic, and so is my bf. also, i can't really afford it. but they all had fleas too. i miss Tiger. :(
meh. that's really all i have to say. i'm now the Social Coordinator for CUSERT too. w00t. and now, i shall leave you with this...
