Long overdue update
Even though this never happens, I'm going to try and get back into posting entries here in livejournal, thanks to a certain someone who keeps it alive...
Anyway, yesterday was a "good" day as Brad came over and brought his newly acquired Bergman Faith Trilogy over (It's on Dvd so I couldn't do it, But I respect his choice as they are all great films!) and we watched them back to back. We started with Through A Glass Darkly which happened to be my favorite and then ordered a pizza and grabbed it from Bruccis up the street. We started the second film, Winter Light which was a bit more atmospheric and less story driven. It was good but so utterly sad and bleak that it made a difficult watch but in the end of course was worth it. Lastly after taking the dogs out on a walk we tackled The Silence and IMO was right in the middle and was a little easier to watch, a little being the key word. In the end I think we both loved all the films as expected and also felt just kinda drained from the experience, we knew this going in too. All in all it was a nice day and Danielle, Emily and I went to Wasabi for dinner and I got sushi and tons of food cooked in front of me, still have a lot left for lunch today. Anyways, I hope to update at least a couple times a week. Mostly will be about recent films I've watched since that's my life and outings with various people. That's all for now, Danielle is getting her hair DID so I think I'm going to go watch The Secret of NIMH! Au revoir for now...
