*My comments (lol)
It was a Sunday morning in April, and Tsubasa was sitting alone in her room. As she looked out the window, she thought, "Maybe I'll go to the park...to get some fresh air." So she quickly put on her shoes, grabbed a bit of money (just in case), and headed out the door. Usually her parents don't let her go out by herself, but that week, they were both on business trips in Japan, so she could do whatever she wanted while they were away. On the way to the park, Tsubasa thought to herself, "What will I do at the park? Nothing interesting ever happens at the park..." At the park, she looked around a bit, deciding what she should do, she thought, "I'm too old for the playground," so she just sat down on a nearby bench. All of a sudden, she noticed a boy, playing with another smaller boy, (probably his younger brother) who kept looking over at her. Tsubasa really took interest in this boy, she had never seen a boy so cute before. For about 5 minutes, both of them kept looking away, then at eachother, missing eachothers' glance each time. Then finally their eyes met and Tsubasa quickly looked away, blushing. The boy must've noticed her do this, because he slowly started walking over to her, and Tsubasa couldn't help but blush even more. Finally, when the boy had built up enough courage, he approached her and said, "Hi...um..I saw you..uhh...sitting there all by yourself and umm...I was just wondering..." a long pause. Tsubasa sat anxiously awaiting his next word, "Well, my name's Ryutaro. That's my brother, Shintaro. Hah...our names kind of match..." he said nervously. Tsubasa sat, dumbfounded, staring right into the eyes of the boy of her dreams. "Oh! Hi! My name is Tsubasa! Nice to meet you! Ummm.." she had become really girly all of a sudden. Ryutaro awkwardly sat down next to Tsubasa, who was shaking at this point. The both of them sat next to eachother, watching Shintaro meet up with a friend. Tsubasa then became worried, because Ryutaro wouldn't have to watch over his little brother, since he had a friend to play with now. She was also extremely excited to be sitting next to him. She tried to sit as still as possible, but she couldn't stop her trembling. She felt as though she had seen this Ryutaro boy before, maybe at school? At the mall? She couldn't remember...she was too overwhelmed. A tear fell from her eye. Ryutaro caught it with a handkerchief and said, "Are you alright?" Tsubasa stumbled and said, "Oh! Um, yeah I'm fine...I just...got something in my eye, that's all, no big deal." "Oh, okay, do you...want to get some ice cream?" Ryutaro asked. "Sure!!" Tsubasa answered, hoping that her tear of joy didn't cause things to get too awkward. The two of them walked over to the ice cream stand, and Tsubasa walked far behind Ryutaro, even though she desperately wanted to be by his side. "Which one do you want?" Ryutaro asked, awkward as ever. "Um...I'll have whichever one you're having," Tsubasa said with a smile. Ryutaro returned the favor and asked for two Green Tea ice cream cones. Tsubasa cringed discreetly at the mention of Green Tea...she really hated it. Ryutaro passed her her cone and they went back to the bench, and Tsubasa thought to herself, "this is our bench now.." as she touched it with her hand. Ryutaro coincidentally put his hand down on top of hers and they quickly pulled them away from eachother. At the same time, Tsubasa dropped her ice cream, "Thank goodness...now I don't have to eat it!" she tought to herself. "Oh," Ryutaro said, "Here, have mine." "No it's really okay." Tsubasa insisted. "No, no. Have it. Please?" Ryutaro smiled at her and she could feel her heart melting. Then she knew she had no choice but to take it. She ate it, swallowing each mouthful with a slight look of disgust on her face, but she tried her best to enjoy it, because Ryutaro picked it, so it was special. Tsubasa was a little bit dazed in all of this, and she kept pinching herself, to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Then Ryutaro asked her, "Is there...a specific time you have to be home by?" and she shook her head. "Oh, well, Shintaro and I have to be home for dinner, so...6-ish? How much longer are you planning on staying at the park?" he asked. "Well, my parents are away, and...well, if..you're not here, I don't see any point in being here either..." she couldn't hold her feelings in any longer. Her words poured out like a waterfall. "...s-so...any time would be fine for me to go home, I mean, well..." she tried to recover from her embarrassing confession. "Oh, okay well, can I...walk you home?" Ryutaro said, building confidence. Tsubasa sat, shocked, searching for words, "Um sure, sure!" she perked up so fast, Ryutaro was a bit shocked. He laughed and said, "Ok just let me go get Shintaro." Tsubasa watched as the brothers re-united. When Ryutaro told Shintaro that they had to go home, Shintaro whined and he made his sadness very apparent. Tsubasa laughed. Walking home, Shintaro lead the way, hitting peoples' fences with a stick he found, he didn't really know where he was going, so Tsubasa would tell him to go left or right down the streets. Tsubasa and Ryutaro trailed behind him, walking a fair distance away from eachother. Tsubasa was still trying to figure out where she had seen this Ryutaro boy before, so she finally asked, "Have I seen you before? At school? At the mall? Maybe at the park?" "Umm, I don't think so," he smiled, "we just moved here from Japan yesterday, so today was the first day that we actually got out of the house." "Oh..." Tsubasa replied, troubled. They continued walking separately until Ryutaro courageously ran over to grab Tsubasa's hand. At first, she was confused, and didn't know what to do with it, but soon after she felt comfortable, like their hands were made for eachother. Ryutaro looked over, waiting for acceptance, and then a smile appeared on both of their faces. "Well, my house is right here, around the corner," Tsubasa pointed out. "Alright. Shintaro, stay here," Ryutaro ordered his brother. "Fine..." said Shintaro, still playing with the stick. Ryutaro kindly walked Tsubasa up the steps to her house. "Will I see you again?" Tsubasa asked Ryutaro. "Well, I'm not sure. I'll probably be taking Shintaro to the park every once in a while so...Oh, wait, what school do you go to?" he asked her. "The one just down the street, over there," she showed him. "OH! No way! That's the one that my brother and I signed up for. I guess we'll be seeing eachother more often then, huh?" he nudged her, she giggled and said, "I guess so...but...if we do go to the park, can we not get Green Tea ice cream again?" she asked shyly. "Oh, why? You don't like it?" "Not really..." "OH! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry.." "Well, it's okay.." They laughed together. After a long pause, Ryutaro checked the time on his cellphone and said, "Ah! Well, we have to be getting home now...I'll see you at school I guess.. Tomorrow..." "Of course!" Tsubasa said, happy. She turned to the door to unlock it, and as she was opening it it, Ryutaro stopped her and said, "Wait!" he grabbed her shoulder, turning her back around to face him. They looked at eachother for a minute, gazing into eachothers' eyes. Tsubasa, confused and a bit embarrassed, kept looking away nervously. Then it happened. Ryutaro grabbed Tsubasa and held her in his arms while he gently kissed her. Naturally, Tsubasa felt tense at first, but she easily submitted herself to him, enjoying every second of it. (is this getting too racy? LOL) "A-HA!" Tsubasa said to herself, "now I know..." as she remembered a dream she had a few nights ago. Ryutaro was the boy from the dream! At that moment, Tsubasa was the happiest she had ever been. "Finally..." she thought, "none of my dreams have ever come true before..." Then all of a sudden, Shintaro peeked from behind a bush and giggled. Ryutaro heard and immediately turned around and made a face at him. Tsubasa was disappointed. She wanted the kiss to last forever. "See you tomorrow..." Ryutaro whispered in Tsubasa's ear. This made her tense up again, and all she could manage was a sigh. Then, as she watched the two brothers walk away, she fell down, weak, but she didn't care...because she was in love.♥
