I didn't?! What the hell is wrong with me? I'll try to give you a quick run-down.
After I finally had enough with New Girl, I went to my boss and told her about it. Well, the boss said that there was nothing left to do but fire her. We'd already had numerous talks with New Girl and nothing seemed to get through to her.
I wasn't there when the actual firing happened, but my boss told me all about it. The boss came in around 5:30 that day and asked New Girl if we had been busy. New Girl said no so my boss told her to go ahead and close the store (we normally close at 6). Sidenote: If my boss came in and told me to close early, I would have shit myself. Nothing good ever comes out of something like that. Back to the story...
My boss told New Girl that it just wasn't working out and that she was spending too much time talking about herself rather than doing her job and doing it right. I asked if New Girl cried and the boss told me no, she was just shocked. Was it wrong of me to want the girl to cry? LOL
Anyway... yeah, that's how it happened. And it's been superb ever since.
