When the original Edgeworth disappeared for some time, Larry was surprised to see a younger Edgeworth appear in Johto. It was weird to see the face of a friend from seventeen years ago, for both Larry and Phoenix, but Larry didn't treat him any differently. Young or not, he was still good ol' Edgey. That of course, didn't mean that Larry wouldn't tell all kinds of stories from the future, of future Edgeworth. Like always, he feels that he can tell Miles anything, and he often learns from the young boy.
Ever since Phoenix and Iris disappeared from Johto, Larry is constantly worried that Miles may end up disappearing as well someday. Miles is the closest person from home he has left, and he doesn't know what he would do if the boy left too.

A good friend of Larry's. He has a lot of fun just hanging out with Barney and talking about their lives and problems. He also wants to help Barney out with the whole Pokemon trainer thing because he wants to show Barney how awesome the world of Pokemon is.
Over the months, Larry has done a lot of hanging out with Barney. The more they hung out, the greater their bond grew. Larry feels that Barney his one of his closest friends already, even though they've only known each other for less than a year. This man has been there for him through a lot of trials, and he feels that he can count on him for anything.

Larry has found himself talking to Heather a lot more often lately, mostly due to the fact that she is a lot closer to Miles and Phoenix. It's getting the point where he can disclose more things about his life, though really, he never has problems with that. He wanted to be there for her after Phoenix's disappearance, since that was a huge blow to the both of them. One day, he wants to invite her on a bar excursion.

Larry kinda envies this lady. She seemed like a strong woman over the network, but it was all but confirmed when they finally met in person. After meeting Ur in person, Larry's appreciation for her grew, and he's forever grateful for the Dratini she gave him, as well as her approval of him painting a portrait of her. It's also pretty helpful that Ur is one of the most striking women he's ever set eyes on. Sometimes he worries that he's taking his flirting too far with Ur, because he has this gut feeling that she could easily beat the crap out of him. Thankfully Ur has agreed to warn him when he's going to far.
He's excited to train with her some day.

Seriously, Larry and Phoenix have been through a lot in their years of knowing each other, and Larry's very grateful for all that Nick has done for him, especially for representing him in court. He's also grateful that Nick actually puts up with him. Larry will always stand up for Nick, even if he seems reluctant about the situation.
Larry went through many trials with Nick in their Johto journey. Missingo attacks, poisoning scares, Phoenix going into a coma for a week, and so much more. It was definitely not the type of Pokemon adventure that Larry envisioned when he first arrived in Johto. However, the adventures were worth it, since he knew he was never alone. However, all journeys must come to an end, and Phoenix's ended before Larry's. Phoenix's departure from Johto was a huge blow to Larry, but he has slowly recovered from it, and hopes for the day Phoenix returns. He wonders how much time will have passed when he comes back.

Larry had met Iris a few months before arriving in Johto, and he was absolutely lovestruck over her. However, he knew things wouldn't work out when he found out that she had been the one dating Phoenix all those years ago. Still, when she arrived in Johto, Larry realized that he still had feelings for her.
She actually hasn't met him yet from where she arrived from, but they still managed to become friends again from day one. Larry's thoughts are a bit conflicted concerning her right now, but all he wants to do is protect her.
When Iris departed from Johto, Larry had a very hard time coping, especially since it happened right at the same time Phoenix disappeared. His feelings for her had grown over their travels, and he hates himself for never admitting them out loud. He hopes for the day that she returns, but at the same time he's terrified that she won't remember their time together in Johto.
