So I am happily running windows xp pro, Ubuntu Linux 7.04, and mac os 10.4.9. how you ask?
with an app called fusion. its a mac app that lets me run other os's like parrelles does. but fusion is totally accessible to us VO users where the other isn't.
so its running I have about 6 screen readers at my finger tips, jaws, win eyes, thunder, NVDA, system access, Orca, Narator, and VoiceOver. running accross three systems all on one Macbook intel core duo 2.0 GHZ processoor with 1.25 gb of ram.
What a Laptop huh? I know its very handy.
and to top it all off, Its all running on an external 40GB hard drive running USB 2.0 ofcourse with a attached 100GB Harddrive running firewire 400.
but, now here's the problem. how to network all of this?
do I go the SMB route? it would seem the easiest they all have access to it. if so how does the ip structure work. who has what IP and how to get them all on the same subnet if they are not on it already?
any ideas, just looking for seemless file sharing/editing for now.
