[► 01] Arrival and a bit lost

[Adam was wandering the Restaurant District, shortly post arrival. He had no clue how he got here or why. He'd just woken up in front of a huge ass radio tower. All he had was the key to his new apartment, the letter explaining his situation, and the map. He'd already checked out his apartment, and eventually got fed up of just sitting around doing

[There is a woman walking around, not paying the slightest bit of attention to where she's going. She is occasionally talking to herself an impersonating someone else.

And she is clearly too wrapped up in that to notice anyone else, so she just crashes right into Adam.]

[Crashed into and that hurt a lot. Of course his first reaction is irritation.] Ow, ow ow. Hey you should watch where you're going.

[Then he calms down and seems a little more concerned.] Um... are you okay?

[She gives a small yelp as she falls backward from bumping into him. She frowns as she's scolded, pushing herself up and dusting herself off. She opens her mouth, but then shuts it and looks as though she's trying to think of something witty.]

..this is harder without Issac. Um...

[She thinks on it for a few more seconds, and then points dramatically at him.]

...When you're searching for something important you have to keep your nose to the ground and plow through any obstacle!!

[She gives a firm nod, as if to solidify the point.]

[He just looks at her when she does that.] That's um good and all but, if by plowing through obstacles, you mean people, then you should keep your eyes in front of you as well. Never know when you may actually hurt someone by doing that.

But if people are obstacles... [She goes back to thinking for a second.] ...that means he must have been captured!

[Now she is going to invade his personal space a bit, leaning in close with a very accusing look.]

Are you the one who captured Isaac?

[Adam did not expect that. At all. He puts his hands up in front of him.] Whoa there! I have absolutely no clue who the hell you're talking about!

[Not even thinking that he could be lying, Miria backs off and gives a heavy, rather dramatic sigh.]

I wonder if the police got him again...

[She suddenly throws her arms into the air and shouts up at the sky.]

WHY COULDN'T YOU TAKE ME INSTEAD? ...Isaac is much better at dramatic rescues!

[And Adam will just stare, because clearly this woman either hit her head hard when she bumped into him. Or she's just plain crazy.

Also there's the bit about the police, and no he thinks, he does not even want to know.] You should. Um. Head to police station then. To bail him out. I think your friend would appreciate that.

[He's backing away slowly Miria. Very slowly.]

[Nope, she's just insane, Adam. Luckily, she is the kind of insane that doesn't involve homicide.]

No that wouldn't work at all. Then we'd both be caught ad Jaccuzi or Ennis would have to come get us and then they would get caught.

..Wait. [She thinks on that for a second.] I don't think they want to arrest Ennis... So it might work if I got Ennis to do it.

[There's also the fact that none of these people are on the islands at all.]

[Yeah Adam is figuring that out. Watch him back away a little more Miria.]

Oh. Then, maybe. You should um. Find them? I'm sure they'd help you make bail. For your friend.

Breaking him out would cost less.

[Is still busy backing away. He'll just, nod and agree with the crazy woman until you can get away safely.]

Okay. Break him out then. You should go do that. The sooner the better right?

...Well yeah, but I don't know where he is.

Well one would assume he'd be at the police station. You could always find that with a map.

But there doesn't seem to be a police station on the map.

...I don't even think he's here. He probably got caught in that area of Japan we ended up in. [Thinks baout that a second.] ...How did we even get there? ...I think it was Isaac's idea.

[Yeah he just realised that too.

Wait a minute. Japan?] Japan? Wow. That's sort of far.
