in all honesty, though, curious george looked a little more together than he did in the first debate, where he looked like a complete moron, and where kerry mopped the floor with him. i mean, he IS a moron, but in politics, true worth is in seeming, not being, i suppose. in this debate, george looked way too aggressive at times. he rudely interrupted the monitor to make a point, spoke out of turn, and answered questions he wished would have been asked instead of the ones that actually were asked. he focused most of his comments toward the extreme right, denouncing stem cell research and abortion. kerry looked really diplomatic and thoughtful, but at times he had trouble putting his complex thoughts into terms for the every day man. kerry made it clear, though, when he spoke of bush's administration having favored big corporations, where kerry would favor the middle class and poor. kerry looked strongest when talking about health care and domestic policies. from recent polls i've seen, it looks like the majority of undecided/swing voters believe kerry won the debate by a landslide, which is good. but the overall polls still show gw with a slight lead, which is pretty ridiculous.
