remember when i took off to Italy for a month?
well, i finally posted the digital pictures.
also, there is a high quantity of "old men" or "walking women" photos. i took them for source material for future paintings, so don't think I am a weirdo.

I was wondering, what is the make and model of your digital camera? The quality is awesome.

that puppy was so so cute and wee.
i didnt think i would like lugging this camera around with me to italy but it was so worth it and i fell in love with the camera as i went throuogh italy. its the new Olympus 8080 and its an 8 megapixel camera. i oculdve taken even sharper pictures but i didnt want to take like 5 memory cards with me. HIGHLY recommend this camera. you can check out the review on dpreview.com.
also, when i first bought it, it ook it on a trip to chinatown:

the urban landscape shots are my favorites. so intricate and variegated. they're living in technicolor over there.

Verona was also a gem. Urbino is a 4000 person tiny medieval town. its the most magical place. I wish it wasnt rainy when i was there, or my pcitures wouldve turned out like the Perugia one. But definately spend some time in Umbria if you go. rent a car and drive to these towns. they dont really allow cars in the historical centre, which is great for walking. you just park and enter the city. its surreal.
