Something odd is going down in my apartment lately. I have been experiencing strange occurrences that terrify me and keep me up at night. I think it may be haunted.

I know it is haunted. By ghost cat. Jackie and I consistently see a white cat-like figure in the corner of our eyes. Mostly when we are washing dishes it likes to rub up against the kitchen cabinets.

But things have been getting stranger, and I have been getting scared-er. The other day I was sitting on the couch and a massive bug flew at my head. It didn't make a buzzing sound, but I physically had to dodge this thing. The "bug" was about two inches around, and I thought, "How on Earth could a bug that large get in here!" Then, out of the corner of my eye I saw ghost cat on the window ledge. He was black. I think he was angry about us trying to get a kitten.

It gets worse. On Saturday night, I woke up at 3:30 AM with an overwhelming sense of anxiety. I tried to nuzzle my head back into my pillow and go to sleep, but then I physically felt something hit my head from underneath my mattress. Almost as if someone was underneath my bed and punched directly in the spot where my head was. I shrugged it off, thinking maybe ghost cat was mad about us trying to get a kitten. Or maybe I just had a really lucid nightmare.

But then last night I woke up at 3:30 AM again with overwhelming anxiety, and I literally felt like their was a presence in the room with me. I quietly said Jackie's name, but there was no response. And when I tried to go back to sleep, every time I would close my eyes I would see myself sleeping from the perspective of where I felt the presence in the room was. It was like I was seeing myself through the eyes of this presence. This sensation went on for about five minutes, until finally I got out of bed and sat on the couch for the rest of the night.

I don't understand what is going on. Maybe I'm just crazier than I thought. But I hate it. Ghost cat must be bringing all his friends in and having a ghost rave in my bedroom.
