[If anyone were to walk close to one of the dorm rooms they might hear Thanatos' quiet sobbing from inside as he sits alone on the futon he shares with Orpheus. His sobs are so quiet they're almost inaudible. Also, those who know Thanatos or Orpheus would realize they haven't been seen at the Velvet Mall in awhile. Wonder what that's all about...?

[It took until he was right outside the door for S!Naoto to finally hear the sobs. He pauses for just a second, free hand hand hovering over the doorknob, before opening it with his usual lack of knocking.]

I'm back.

[Just in case Thanatos somehow managed to miss him walking in. Naoto closes the door behind him before dropping a small plastic bag down on the nearest surface.]

[Proceeds to cover his face with the usual scarf right as Shadow Naoto walks in. Thanatos wasn't too surprised since they obviously shared the room whenever Naoto decided to come back from trips to his lab. Time to pretend he wasn't just crying before Naoto walked in! Oh, let's put our attention to the small plastic bag since it's an easy distraction to put his mind on.]

Hey, it's been awhile.

... What did you get, Naoto?

[Unfortunately, S!Naoto already heard the sobs. But he isn't going to comment.]

It's from Naoto. [The real one, that is.] Some sort of thank-you for "taking care" of me, apparently.

[And he'll just be digging inside of that bag now. After a moment, Naoto takes out something that looks suspiciously like after-Valentine's bargain chocolate and heads over to sit down on the ground next to the futon. Someone still isn't awake, apparently?]

Well, that was nice of Naoto to do.

[He peers down at the Valentine's bargain chocolates in Naoto's hands. Well, that hit the nail on the head... Orpheus was still in the closet pocket dimension located in the closet. Unconscious.]

I suppose.

[Naoto opens the box before wordlessly dropping it next to Thanatos, not even bothering to try and hand it to him. Maybe he's making some sort of incredibly indirect attempt to help distract the other? Probably not. The shadow!pet scoops up a nearby kitten and starts petting it, though this is likely just for the sake of having something to do.]

[Thanatos takes the box into his lap and examines it before looking back at Naoto.] Mind if I have a few?

[Pet, pet.]

It's for you two.

[In other words: "Go ahead."]

It is? Thanks!

[Digs his hand into the box and pulls out some chocolate to eat.]

[Excuse us while we take a not-so-subtle look around the room for it's third resident, though we're already pretty sure that he's not in here right now. Pet, pet.]

Orpheus is still asleep, so ... I'll make sure not to eat all of these.

I s-...?

[...Waitasec. S!Naoto doesn't see anyone in here aside from Thanatos and the kittens.]

...where?

[itsnotaleash]

... In the closet.

[Surely he didn't hear that right.]

Well, the closet is a pocket dimension now.

[The biggest problem here? The fact that Naoto can actually believe this.]

[He points.]
