Thanatos and Orpheus // Private Thread for the Win

May 07, 2009 12:20

[Continuation from this awkward thread, of course. Thanatos brings Orpheus back to the dorm room and proceeds to set him down on the futon. Of course, he didn't bother to untie the yellow scarf from around Orpheus' eyes. Orpheus also gets to be treated to complete silence for a moment before there are sounds of Thanatos slipping off his black suit ( Read more... )

[It didn't matter if it was the dorm or not. It was still the fact that accursed blindfold was still in place. Pure darkness, just like in That Place, only now there were others there other than himself. At least in the mall it was able to be covered up with annoyance. Now... there was no excuse. So even the slightest sound was enough to make him freeze in place. Or, in the case of where Thanatos' hands come from nowhere, nearly jump out of his skin and try to lean away from. At least the lack of a voice prevented the panicked noise that would usually come with such an action.]

[Unfortunately, Thanatos is completely oblivious to Orpheus' panic in the state he's in and so he continues to gently rub Orpheus' temples. He also takes the leaning away from his person the wrong way... His hands move lower and rest against Orpheus' back where Thanatos wishes he could feel muscles through the Assistant's suit.] Relax, Orpheus... You're safe as long as I'm here with you. That's how it always is...

[Cure not having a voice. Curse your sudden infinitely-worsening clinging tendencies. Better yet, curse that wheel, the mall, and everything else it's done in the past however-many months. But it's mostly the voice part right now. Since it would be so easy to just tell him to bugger off if it wasn't for the fact that, you know, he couldn't. Relax, he says, it would be easier to relax if this situation wasn't happening. Oh hey, your hands moved. Back to trying to get this makeshift blindfold again. Priorities.]

[Thanatos will just be wrapping his arms around Orpheus' upper body. At first it's just a tight hold to keep Orpheus from moving his arms to get the scarf off of his eyes. It quickly becomes obvious that Thanatos' hands are diligently moving to strip Orpheus of his suit. Once the buttons are undone, Thanatos leans back a bit and pulls off the suit that's blocking his path to being able to touch Orpheus' cool skin. He then throws the suit aside before putting his attention to the tie around Orpheus' neck.

Thanatos sighs softly and nuzzles his face against the back of Orpheus' neck once the tie is also thrown aside with the black suit. Now all that's left is the shirt that was underneath the suit. However, that was a thin article of clothing and Thanatos can already feel Orpheus' muscles through it as he rests his chest against Orpheus' back.] You're so tense, Orpheus... Just wait a moment and I can fix that for you...

[Thwarted yet again. But being annoyed over this immediately switches right back to panic at the realization of oh god he's trying to take off my clothes and I can't do a damn thing about it because he still has my arms pinned and can't even yell at him to WAKE UP ALREADY since all it brings is a dull cracking sound and a few soundless coughs. Still hurts to even make the effort to speak.

Hey leave my tie alone why are you so close what's this about fixing no no no NO nothing needs fixing you're just being crazy now LET GO. Deep down, he's aware that resistance is futile, but that doesn't stop him from thrashing once in his grip in one last attempt to get out. Please let go please let go]

[That attempt to escape causes Thanatos to shove Orpheus face first into the futon where he then proceeds to climb on top of Orpheus and sit his butt where Orpheus' spine would end at his back. Once he has Orpheus properly pinned down onto the futon he pushes back the shirt so he has complete access to Orpheus' back. Thanatos' face brightens as his hands begin to massage Orpheus' tense muscles.]

See, Orpheus... ? Mm, I know just which muscles to stroke that will help you relax... After all, I used to do this for you when you were first awoken from the Seal two years ago...

[Even if it is a comfy futon, getting shoved face-first into anything isn't the most pleasant of experiences. Well, so much for escaping now. Not like that's going to stop him from trying anyway. Try and make him relax all you want, it's not working. Because there's that constant train of thought going that it's not you who's doing this, it's that goddamned mall playing a trick on the both of us for its own sick amusement. And despite the current panic, deep down that just makes him... furious. Extremely well-hidden, but that same brand of anger that would sometimes come up when remembering those times stranded in the seal.

Because it's not fair. No one deserves that. And why does it happen? All because some twisted deity gets its daily amusement from it? No. A swift yank of one of his arms to try and break it free. Because I won't stand for it. Won't stand for anyone treating anyone else like I do. Especially not you. Such a thing is... unforgiveable!]

Snap out of it!

Snap out of what...? Isn't it obvious that I've always wanted to touch you like this? I just want to stroke every inch of you...

[Rakes his nails down Orpheus' back strong enough to leave white marks that turn red once he's done. As his hands scratch down Orpheus' lower back he rubs at the skin there with gentle strokes. Stroke... Stroke... Of course, with his attention on Orpheus' back it would be easy enough for Orpheus to free his arms now since the first one he tried to yank free ends up being a success. Why would Orpheus want to, though...? He sure knows just the right places to make Orpheus' muscles feel delicious.]

A-ah, you're so beautiful...

[What do you mean snap out of what?Maybe his would take longer to wear off...? Hell, his voice was still cracking when he yelled just before, and even now there was that painful burning sensation reminiscent of when you'd contract strep throat as a child. Yeah, that's gotta be it. Wouldn't be him. No, couldn't. It's just the stupid mall it's not him it's not him it's no-

Train of thought derailed yet again, only this time by an involuntary shudder at the nails, immediately biting his tongue to stifle any sounds that would follow. Just keep up that mental mantra of it's not him it's not him he wouldn't do this and those last words bring up enough sense of self to swing the arm just now broken free up to try and hit you upside the head with enough force as he could muster. Accursed mall, how dare you make him say such things. Come on, sir, get a grip already! Because admitting this is of your own free will... Nonono It's not him it's not him]

[Thanatos was about to continue massaging Orpheus' back when he suddenly gets hit upside the head with enough force to knock his head back with a loud 'clonk.' It also seems the hit was able to force Thanatos back to normal because right after he's hit, he cries out and moves off of Orpheus in a panic. ... In which he then falls off of the futon and crawls backwards until he can't crawl back anymore. Please hold, Thanatos is going to keep his back to the wall and struggle not to flip out as what he was just doing floods back into his conscious. Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck what was he even doing Orpheus was never going to forgive him for this.]

[A few seconds just frozen in place. Was aiming on instinct, but it actually connected? And it got him off... Yeah, cue sitting bolt upright and yanking off the blindfold, wincing a bit at the light until his eyes adjust. Just going to stare at the scarf for a moment, breathing just a bit ragged and tremors shaking his whole body. Funny thing about a fight-or-flight response: while useful in a short-term moment of acute stress, when remained in for too long there are numerous negative effects. But we can ignore that.

It takes a few more seconds afterwards to realize that Thanatos was missing. Where? Looks up to lock eyes on the other now curled up against the wall. Blink. Forgive the slow response time. Blame the aforementioned phenomena for it.] ... Are you all right now?

No, no... I didn't mean to, I... [Digs his nails into his skin deep enough to cause a small amount of blood to flow.] I don't know what came over me! This is all my fault, how could I let that happen to you? I never would have done that to you...

[There's a slight wince at the sudden bloodletting before lowering his gaze back to the floor. Would go over to try and console you, but you'd probably just back away anyway. Not to mention the constant tremors were making it hard to sit up straight, let alone standing or walking. But...]

I know that already. Relax.
