So this bridge I have driven under hundreds of times on the highway, collapsed onto it this evening. About 125 tons of concrete fell --- the gaurdrail and part of the roadway. Luckily, no one was killed or even seriously injured, but traffic was closed in both directions and will continue to be closed into Wednesday. It's weird when you think about having just driven under it Christmas Eve. I'm just glad no one was badly injured.
So my Christmas Day wasn't the greatest, but yesterday (Monday) was decent. We went to Butler to see my Dad's side of the family for Christmas. So my Dad and brother went to pick up my grandparents and I drove my Mom. It was fun seeing everybody, and I wore my contacts driving for the first time. Then today I woked up and schlepped around then my dad and I ordered my camera online. I'm so excited... a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-30, 8 mega pizels, 35-420mm zoom, Lecia lense, all sorts of buttons, haha. Here's a pic...
Anyways, so now I am drinking Screwdrivers, orange juice and Grey Goose vodka. And thats about it for tonight.
Have a good night...
