I'm proud of the Avs. They didn't make the playoffs but they never gave up either. They could have given up a month ago but they ended up out of the playoffs in their second to last game. It was that close. Sakic became the second oldest player in history (37) to get 100 pts in a season. The man is a god and still plays like he's 20 years old, such a classy guy too. I'm proud to have the most respected man in the NHL on my favorite team.
The Twins are 4-1 so far. Should be 5-0 but they had no run support in a great performance by a questionable pitcher. Good start to the season.
In sort of related sports news, I wore my Bourque jersey today. I shouldn't have. I knew I shouldn't have. Then when permanent marker got on me by some dumb chick I naturally flipped out. $200 jersey in perfect condition and 7 years old. I only wear it a few times a year and she doesn't give a crap that she even did it. I could have hit her but she's lucky I don't do that.
Other than that, I'm good.
