Wow. The outcome of the game sucked. The Avs lost in overtime 3-2. It was heartbreaking but good to see those guys skating live.
Before the game I got fourteen autographs. YES 14! How fucking sweet is that? I went from 0 Avs autographs to fourteen in a matter of hours. I got Sakic's. I bet I looked like a retard when he came out. I was all giddy. Seriously, the man is a legend. Even though they lost I'm in happy land. I've been smiling all day long. I've got to say, hockey players are the nicest out of all sports. They will do anything for you and you don't get that from others. In turn, we respect their private time with family or just out. I mean how many professional athletes can walk down the street a few blocks to go to their practice/game a few hours before the game starts and not be bothered or be bothered very little? Yeah, not many. In hockey, they do it all the time. Half the team walked to the X instead of taking their bus. The superstars obviously can't, but still most of them can. Just another reason to love this sport.
