no; i did not die in a tragic european plane crash
hello everyone! it's been a while since i have updated (or been in the united states for that matter) yes the dates in my previous journal entry were wrong, i actually didnt get home until the 20th. sorry. kristina said that she thought i had died in a tragic european plane crash. she looked online for them and everything. sorry that you all (or maybe just kristina) were so worried. .........but it does make me feel rather loved.
europe was amazing! i absolutely loved it. even if i took the time to tell you every single detail i still dont think that it would be enough. europe is just one of those things that you have to experience to truly understand.
i started my job yesterday. it freakin sweet. i honestly dont really do anything. yesterday i taught kids in the morning but i got to leave early because there was a tornado warning (which made no sense at all because it was a perfectly clear and still day) then today in my first hour class a little kid pooped in the pool. so the pool had to be shocked all day but the manager said that if we left early he wouldnt pay us for a full day of work. so we laid on couches and watched the world cup all day. ( in europe they are hard core soccer people and it got me really into it so i was really happy we got to watch it.) i really like all the people that i work with. ill tell you a little bit about them so when i talk about them later you will have a little idea of their personalities.
-christina- the mom of all of us
-adam- the class clown
-jessie- the flirt
-nicole- the jock
-christina (the other one)- the beach bum
-kendra- the diva
-jake- the bad boy (and of course the one i am instantly attracted to. i dont have a crush on him or anything. i am just attracted to him)
-kylie- the youngest
-me- the rookie
-all of us- crazy, fun, slackers that like to goof off.
all of the other staff at the jcc either love us or hate us. most of them hate us because A) we arent jewish or B) because we are slackers that get paid to do nothing.
so far this summer is the best of my life. hope yours is too.
