He's here...
I'm on spring break now, I had my last final today... *insert sigh of relief* It has been a hectic last couple of days, so I'm glad to have a nice long resting period now.
Troy came over last night, and I think we set a new record... we hung out for about 14 seconds before he fell asleep. =P I let him in, got him situated, and went back into the computer room to work on my essay due that night... about 10 minutes later I went to go see what he was up to, and he was already asleep on the couch. Geez, man. :)
I have another working interview tomorrow, which I'm looking forward to. Things are looking up, and I'm thinking I'll probably be getting the job. Of course, now that I've said that I've jinxed myself, but oh well. As I talked about earlier, there are 3 people applying for the same job. Yesterday Jennifer (my friend who works there) told me that 1 of them didn't even show up for their interview, and another one of the three came and did a working interview and totally sucked it up. So basically that's 2 people out of the running. On top of that, tonight I was able to find a really important phone number. A neighbor who moved several years ago used to run a daycare, and for a week she hired me. I listed it on my resume but didn't have a phone number listed since I hadn't talked to the old neighbor for years. The manager at Kindercare told me if I could find that phone number it would really help me--and tonight I hunted through the phonebook until I found the right "Kier." So now my application is super-swank. Go me! Here's hoping everything ends well!
