Top of my shitlist

Dear New Jersey,

You really let me down, Jersey. I thought we had something good going but nope - wrong again.

Is it because I had fun in Michigan? I did. I got to see friends and family I haven't seen in a long while. So I lost my planner the first and only night I stayed with my family - this may be a sign to upgrade. And althought I won't be able to draw pictures of airplanes when I'm travelling, it would definately be nice to have that pda attached to my phone; a lesser chance of losing it!

Going to Amanda's wedding was interesting. Out in Lainsburg - on Round Lake. Fishing boat in the back of the 5 minute ceremony but the bar and wine bar was a nice touch; unlike the jean cladded guests. How different this was from Sarah's wedding at the Radisson in downtown Lansing. Open bar was a better touch. And of course, the maid of honor along with the wedding crashers and later bar hoppers really made my night!

Was it that I neglected to call those from Jersey back this week? It was only because I was busy with Red and the brother at Michigan's Adventure (2 parks for the price of one!!!!) And later the long drive to Indiana.

Missy made me feel like I was back in Jersey as she slammed on her brakes at the very last minute to avoid running a red light and instead turned very sharply, and possibly on two wheels, to a side street missing the enterance ot the highway.

Did you miss me Jersey, as I learned important facts? Like that Arthur was a book before the PBS series.

Regardless of the reasoning, I have to say I didn't apprechiate getting home from my 12 hour commute from Merriville, IN to Chicago, IL to Detroit, MI to Newark, NJ to River Edge, NJ. I didn't apprechiate that I had to take 2 buses to 2 flights to 2 trains to find my car moved from the space I parked it.

I didn't apprechiate having to pay $122 to some asshole for taking it away. I didn't ask you to repave the street that weekend. And being that I was there before 5:30am on Thursday, I don't apprechiate your 24 hour notice up at 7am. Any other weekend and it would have been fine.

New Jersey, you produce bad accents, stupid bosses, and now annoyances on side streets.

Please let it be known that I have reserved my right to judge you from moving and I believe that after 349 days of living in this state that I can officially make an informed and unbias judgement. And the verdict is, New Jersey, that you are on the top of the list of shittest places to live. In fact, coming from Detroit, I can proudly say that living down river would be better than living in your overpriced, beach-feed, blue laws county in you nasty smelling, tactless state.

New Jersey, I loathe you. And unfortuneatly I belive this is unreconcilable. It was nice to have met you and I will no longer take Michigan, in all is basking glory, forsaken anymore.

Sincerely,
Jessica
