Mall adventures.
Weell, another day, another blog. On Tuesday, Allison Iraheta's album came out, and my brother decided to drive all the way to a mall in Auburn Hills, more than an hour and a half away, to purchase it. He first went there with our other brother to go to a listening party for her album, that was inside a Torrid's store.. which was apparently a slightly embarassing experience for the two of them, considering it's a store for plus size women. LOL Anyway, I heard so much great stuff about this mall I decided to go along, and I'm glad I did.
First off, it was a fun ride over there, listening to Christmas music all the way. I love long car rides so that was great. A kind of unfortunate occurance happened, though, when a truck drove in front of us with a dead deer strapped on top, which I can only assume belonged to some hunters. To make matters worse, RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER was playing on the radio.. if that's not irony, I don't know what is. *_* Maja bummer. Anyhow, shortly thereafter we parked, and I finally got to see this huge ass mall. It was great. All one floor, so not crappy escalators and confusion trying to find the right store. The first stop was FYE, just to look around.
However, my brother got impatient and we quickly made our way to Torrid's, where he got his CD. With that done, we decided to roam around and check out all the stores, which was fun. I don't care for the mall in my area, so I don't go to malls but maybe once a year, so this was a nice experience for once. ^_^
After some walking around, we found an ice cream place and got some milkshakes. I opted for caramel, which was delicious. After that we wandered around some more, and I was introduced to this place:
The Rain Forest Cafe. it was cool to walk in there, cause it sounded like it was raining and thundering. They even had a fake crocodile!
Also, a really cool tank full of colorful fishies.
You know I had to camwhore like a mofo on the rocks.
Overall, it was a fun place, with everything you can imagine. Random, but I found a calender with my icon picture in it. <3 Do want.
Lastly, I came home and did my nails with some new polish and nail stickers/jewels I bought. I was really happy with the end result! The pictures suck, but it was black with silver streaks and 3 little silver jewels on each nail.
I'm thinking tomorrow I'll do my nails something festive for the holidays.. and speaking of holidays, we finally got our house all lit up! It looks amazing, props to my brothers for putting them all up. I'll post a picture once I can take a decent one, and if I can remember, lol.
