i am just so torn about this whole stupid election. i dont know.
i mean, on one hand, i do see the point of bringing back tradtional values and i understand (and almost agree with) a lot of mccains plans...and i think Obama is terribly inexperienced and maybe some other things and i personally feel like a lot of black people can be REALLY annoying with all this crap about overcoming adversity....i mean, black people have a LOT more freedom than white people do in certain situations, i would say. and i feel like either way with this election black people are going to be even MORE racist towards white people than they already are. IM AWARE OF THIS. white people who disagree with this are just trying to be cute. its so obvious that some black people basically just treat white people like garbage and are utterly unrespectable. i guess in saying that, im kind of a racist. i wouldnt SAY that im a racist, but i just calls it like i sees it.
on the other hand, john mccain is just so hkjfdkj! Some people think he will probably die in the next four years anyway, right, so that leaves SARAH PALIN as the president and i hate this lady with a passion. but back to mccain....what to say... i just dont like some of his personal choices! but i mean, this goes for both candidates at this point...McCain totally stranded his first wife and children, obviously to persue his super-rich barbie Cindy. And then he publicly insults her and actually uses the word "cunt"....i dont know. i just dont know. but then you have obama who is so confusing and his book "the audacity of hope" is just like so insane and there are some parts about his views on the war that are just frightening. i dont know. he also likes to mention how he has used grass and blow several times in his growing up, which i feel is a little irresponsible for the president to do or to broadcast...but so is divorcing your wife and leaving your children. OKay so now everything is straight with his kids, but there was a point in history where he completely just left them with their mother.
I feel like there is just too much crappy stuff to sift through in order to make the best choice.
and ultimately, it doesnt make a difference! we dont even pick the pres. anywho, so who cares?! I mean, the electoral votes will be for whoever benefits them the most, right? i dont know! i should have paid mroe attention in school i guess!
BUT i just want to talk about how much i HATEEEEEE mccains VP! This lady is INSANE! Firstly, she is suing the bush administration because he put polar bears on the endangered species list, which apparently has hurt Alaska's tourism because people cant hunt polar bears anymore. and im just like...lady, if you keep on hunting them, there wont be anymore - do you not understand that hunting polar bears has almost wiped out their species and you're mad because of your TOURISM RATES?! insane! she wrote this whole op-ed piece about it....also, she is an AVID hunter and i strongly disagree with hunting for sport, especially that of big game and exotic animals. there are pictures of her with dead animals and her children in tow and they're all smiling one big happy family- YUCK! that is the OPPOSITE of what i want from this country! also, she wants to overturn roe v wade and shes so obsessed with forcing her 17 yr old pregnant daughter into marrying this hockey guy and its so confusing to me because if abortion becomes ILLEGAL, okay, doesnt that just equate to more mouths to feed through food stamps, wic, welfare, etc? if someone wanted to terminate their pregnancy, chances are it has a lot to do with the fact that they dont have the money for it right now, right? i say abortions are a really good thing. my life would be totally fucked up right now if abortions were illegal and i would totally be milking the government for money RIGHT NOW. trust me. abortions are the best thing for this country. THE BESSSST THING.
