CHRISTMAS 2004: Part I

Dec 06, 2004 11:13

So I was sitting around and I thought to myself "What better time than 10:59 A.M., on the Sixth of December, of the year of our Lord Two Thousand Four, to add some random nonsense to my LiveJournal?" And thus, the following entry ensued:

My classes rapidly approach ending for the first semester and all I have to say to all still taking classes, particularly High Schoolers, is "HA HA!!!!" (or in Spanish "JA JA!!!!"). It's too bad I have to write these essays, take these tests, and do a project, however. But oh well, there is a price to pay for having an entire month of freedom for Christmas ;^).
Ah, Christmas, the love of my life, thou art. Christmas makes me brim with brightly shining joy, like the Swarovski Crystal star atop the 71-foot Rockefeller Christmas Tree - exquisite. Jose Ignacio Tissera (my ever-so-excellent roommate) and I have placed an equal tree in our own room. It stands a, far shorter, four and one half feet tall. It is adorned with several strands of lights, Silver garland, Gold tinsel, Red bows with Gold lining, Silver, Gold, Red, Green, Purple, and Blue Glass ornaments; and an approximately 8-inch, self-lit, frosted white star. The thing is beautiful on a glorious scale, and it makes my life full of happy joy for the Holidays. I also went Christmas shopping at the official largest Outlet Mall of the World, Woodbury Commons - another reason to love New York. And, let's just say you would wish you were my family if you saw the gifts I bought. The shopping goodness of this great season in New York is, to say the least, euphoric. My life needs one more thing to be in a complete state of happiness, and that is a guarantee of steady, positive cash flow - otherwise known as a job. We shall faithfully and patiently wait, though, because I am sure the need will be satisfied quite shortly. Iggy has a job, and I am jealous - silly Iggy. It's ok, he's a doorman, but I call it bouncer, because it's funnier to think of Iggy as a bouncer. He does have his new Macy's Grover, though, and let me tell you, I don't think Iggy has been this happy since Sushkai his panda met Winnie The Pooh. At this juncture, the fruit of my random thought has been fully consumed...until the next time a blossom of my mind flowers, spread Christmas cheer for the greatest holiday of the year!!!!
