Taking a break fromdoing minimal school work...

So I'm in this constant battle of attempting to lose weight.  I go through times where I am working hard for a week and a half, then something happens and I take a week off.  So far so good, minus the fact that I haven't had money to go grocery shopping to buy my necessary fruits and veggies for the week.  That's another story that I really don't even want to think about.  It definitely makes me think that lower income people/families really have very little options for being healthy/losing weight.  Fruits and veggies cost a ridiculous amount of money.  Anyhow.  I weighed yesterday.  136 pounds.  I'm writing this in hopes that maybe blogging will help hold me accountable.  I haven't told anyone how much I weigh.  Maybe by knowing that someone will read again next week, it will make me work hard to not have to write that same number.  Am I even making sense??

Since I am running low on foods here, I had a piece of toast this morning for breakfast, with jelly.  I would have paired it with some fruit if I actually had some.  Then for lunch, I had some left over pasta salad my mom made and the rest of her homemade fruit salad.  I have no clue what Dustin and I will do for dinner tonight.  Probably eat fast food...it'll be difficult.  I have been craving Chik Fil-A.  Luckily, I don't have money to do a chicken egg & cheese bagel this week.  Since I haven't eaten much today, I guess the fast food calories will balance me out.

I went to the gym.  I really didn't feel like it though.  I did one of the glamour.com mp3 workouts that I put on my ipod (which I absolutely love, nothing is better than having someone talking to you telling you exactly what to do).  I did the core workout.  It was hard!  I was sweating after only 10 minutes.  Then I did 30 mins. random hill on the stationary bike.  That really sucked.  I had set it for 60 mins, but I was getting so bored.  I couldn't really read a magazine or anything.  So after 30 mins. I switched to the treadmill.  I did my usual run/walk.  Next week I think I will switch to run 6 mins and walk 4 mins.  Today was a success so far...Still bored though sitting around doing school crap.
