Some people have found out the hard way that we're not so closely related to chimps.

It is a 15" viola by Karl Meisel. It doesn't have any major scratches or cracks on the body. The only thing that I can tell is wrong with it, is I think there was a minor infraction on the right side on the top ridge of the rib... there is a little scratch out of it. (It doesn't bother the instrument at all.)It has all the pieces; tail piece, fine tuners, pegs, bridge, etc. It's not a bad instrument. My friend has played on it before that majors in viola, and she doesn't mind it. I bought it from my high school in the 11th grade. It was an instrument that someone else had donated to the school when they graduated because they weren't going to continue. I am selling the viola, the bow, shoulder rest, mute, the case...everything.
(I don't want it anymore... I feel bad because it has been stashed away in my closet, and it needs to live.) The case has a zipper that doesn't have the puller, but it still works. With a little faster on the zipper, it will be okay. Other than that it's fine. It's black cloth on the outside, and red on the inside. Holds two bows and has a folder for music, and it has a pillow. I took it to one of the violin shops here in KC and had them look at it. They said it was fine, and thought I could sell all of it for $800 or $900. If you are interested let me know. I will also let you know if anyone else is interested.
Thanks a lot!!
Samantha Jo
