"Hoshi, it's Amber," she said, her tone dark. "I am sooo not having a good day. Wanna get wasted any time soon? Call me."

Hoshi called back right away. "What's wrong?"

"I'm losing everything! My vintage socks, my purple underwear! And Priestly came in to Turtle and Canary and acted all kinds of weird like." Mostly. "And... and... just stuff," she whined.

"Yeah, I seem to be having a clothing problem too," said Hoshi. She wanted to ask about Priestly after talking to him yesterday, but didn't want to do that over the phone. "You want to hit Caritas today or tomorrow? Or you could stop by my room, but the strongest thing I have is green tea?"

"Whenever is good for you," Amber said, and sighed. "No tea, please. I drink enough of that with Liir. But I do have a bottle of peach schnapps."

"Well, I was thinking of going to Caritas tonight. I wanted to have a little chat with this girl who's dating one of my little siblings. But I guess I could always get started early, if you want to stop by my room with that peach schnapps."

Amber blinked. "We have a lot to talk about, Hoshi. I'll be there as soon as I can!"
