Summary: ( Just put it out there I suck at summaries) Jonghyun, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Onew, after almost all there life have been in orphanage and out of the blue has now been adopted. They don't understand how or why they got here. Yet they now have a new family and a new home. 5 years have passed and they started to get use to their new life. But little do they know, they have no idea what they got themselves into.
Chapter 22
The alarm finally rings but I’ve been already up beforehand. I sat up and laid back on the headboard behind me. I bring my knees up to my chest and hold them close.
Today’s the day
I watch Onew move and have his eyes lay back at me. I knew my face was unquestionable, which is why he hasn’t said anything about.
He sighs and brings his hand to cover his face. He takes his other and holds on to my legs beside him. We remained that way in the silence.
We know what day it is
I get up first and head towards the bathroom for a quick shower.
I entered and let the water hit me all over; my hair and body. To try to help me relax, but it really wasn’t working.
I head out quick and made it back to my room to get dress.
I stand in my towel, looking at me closet. This is the first time I say, I really don’t want to get dress, not even sex wise.
I don’t wanna face today, because I can already feel how bad this is all going to go and this is something I really don’t want for all of us.
“Tae?”
I looked behind me to see him already changed and set to go. I know out of his concern he would ask me ‘what’s wrong’ ‘why aren’t you changed yet?’, but we both know the answer to that.
He moves in behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. I lay back behind his chest into his touch. I felt his lips kiss the back of my head. We lay back into the silence as we both think of something to say to help the other
“Hey”
I felt Onew look back.
“Food’s ready”
I know that voice is ever hard to miss, even when it sound so sad.
Minho heads back and closes the door behind him.
I slowly pulled out of his arms and finished getting changed to head down stairs.
I pulled my hair back into a ponytail as my feet continued walking downstairs to the dining room. Onew follows behind me as Key and Minho were already waiting in the silence.
I sat down across from them as Onew sat by my side.
We all looked at the good looking food in front of us, but neither of us made a move to get any.
“As good as this all looks, I’m honestly not hungry” I say.
“As much as I hate to agree, neither am I” says Key.
We all know what day it is
“Come on” Key slams his napkin on his plate. “Let’s just get this day over with” he grabs his keys and bag and walks out with Minho following behind.
Onew gets up and finishes getting his things ready.
I kept my post and say there all alone.
I don’t wanna go; I wanna wish my day away or sleep by it to let it pass. But I really do have a bad feeling about how everything is going to go.
“Tae?”
I got pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of his voice. I looked up at him.
“You coming?”
I don’t have much of a choice, do I?
I nodded and headed out after him.

“No offence but are you guys coming?” says Jinwoon
Jonghyun continues to kiss my lips as we wait by Jinwoon’s car.
I can feel his hands in my hip tighten as he pulls me close. His tongue licks inside my mouth as we kiss deeper.
“Jongie” I say in between them. “We have to go”
“Mumm”
He moves his head to the side as our kiss becomes slower and sweeter.
“Dude come on, it’s already 8:40, we’re going to miss homeroom”
He chuckles on my lips. “Ok, ok”
He holds my face in his hands and taps my lips one last time. He pulls back but leaves our forehead connected.
“I love you” he says.
“I love you too”
“I’ll come by later to get you, ok” he says as he pulls apart.
I nodded and gave him a smile.
I was about to get inside till he pulls me back.
“I’m sorry, last one I swear.”
I laugh as he brings his hands to hold my face and kisses me again, the last and final one. He makes it long and sweet; sweeter than the ones I ever had before. He breathes into me and smiles.
I smiled back. “I have to go Jongie”
“Ok” he says quietly.
He finally let go and I get inside the car. The car starts to move, I look back to see his face looking at mine. I watched him as he mouths an ‘I love you’ as soon as we move into the drive way. I mouthed him one right back and we drove off away from him.
Nicole looks back at me. “So was it fun?” she asks.
I grin down at my hands and felt them touch my lips. “Yeah it was”
She grabs my hand and I look up at her. “I’m glad”
We drove off to school in the rest of the silence.
The smile on my face grew within the seconds along with my uneasy heart. I’m happy to have Jonghyun back, (I think?) but what happens now?
Jinwoon parks out front and he and Nicole make it outside. I try to open the door beside but my hands were too hesitant.
What’s going to happen now?
My sigh escapes my mouth as I pull my hands back.
“Hey”
I look up to see Nicole and her warm smile. She places a hand mine, “It’s going to be ok”
I nod slightly even though I was still unsure and walked out of the car.
Nicole walked ahead as I was on her arm, while Jinwoon was following close behind.
I can already feel everyone’s eyes glued on me as we walked inside. I kept my head down as I glance at their looks on me as we pass.
I know Nicole and Jinwoon are trying their best to help, but deep inside I still feel so cold. Even with them by my side, never in my life have I ever felt so alone.
Jongie I need you
I felt someone close me in their chest, it felt so warm.
I look up to see Minho’s smile and Key by his side with their lace hands.
They follow me up the stairs and walked with me to my class.
“Where’s Taemin? I have to talk to him”
Key gives me a painful look. “He wasn’t feeling well on the way to school, so he stayed with Onew”
“What do yo have to talk to him about?” asked Minho.
I was about to answer, when something else caught my eyes.
Suzy and Jonghyun, walking with their hands laced together.
It hurt but I still pull a face that shows otherwise.
I felt Minho’s grip tighten on me.
I watch as she smirks as they walk pass us in the other direction. I looked over at Jonghyun and I can tell by his apologetic eyes, that this wasn’t any of his intentions.
We kept walking so they were now full behind us, like a brush of air. I looked back to try to catch his face, but only to see he was looking for mine.
‘I’m sorry’ he mouths.
I slightly nodded. ‘It’s ok’
We kept walking with my head facing forward and finally made it to my classroom.
“I’ll be out here to get you ok?”
I nodded.
“Just text us it anything ok?” said Key
I nodded again.
I walked inside my class and took my seat beside Yosoeb. He give me a small smile as we hug and pulls me in close to him as we took out our books and waited for our lecture to begin.

“Tae”
He doesn’t look up.
I place my hand on his knee as it finally stops shaking. “It’s going to be ok”
“Jinki… I’m scared…”
I sigh sadly. “I know baby, I know”
“I-I need more time”
“Tae, we’ve been sitting here for almost 2 hours already”
“I-I…we-but-”
“Tae,” I rise up his head and he looks at me. “Breathe”
He lets out a sigh and lays his head on my shoulder.
I let him take the last 5 minutes of silence.
“Ready?” I finally asked.
He nods and walked out of the car along with me. we walked inside the entrance and headed towards the from desk. We said out her name and they gave us her room number.
We enter the elevator and pushed her floor as it close behind us.
I look over at Taemin; his face was so pale and scared. By the way he kept clinching his hands, he was still nervous.
I drop my hand and laced it together with his. He grips it together hard enough to make them one. I pulled his face together with mine and kiss his lips lightly. He hums together as our lips touch. I pulled back and lay his forehead together with mine.
“It’s going to be ok” I tell him.
He lets out a sigh.
The door finally opens and we step out; walking towards her room.
After the few rights and left, we finally found it.
I can already feel my heart facing as the moment felt like it got slower.
I breathe in and together we walked at the door.
I knocked softly.
“Umma?”
The door opens and by the time we finally see her face, Taemin drops my hand and goes running into her arms.
