silenttex and I have just measured, and there's no way to fit a king size bed in my room. Not in any configuration. Well not and fit any furniture at all as well. Bugger. Good job I measured before buying a new bed! Oh well, a double will be cheaper and therefore a more sensible purchase.

Man, I hate shopping sensibly, takes all the fun out of it!
