Saturday All clear for cookwitch. Woot! Up to Leeds for sendraks's birthday party: good food, good company and good cocktails, who can ask for anything more? There was even cake!

Sunday Lunch & gossip with madcatwoman, always a pleasure. Back home in time for the repeat of the Dr Who series finale: thought it was a bit shit. cookwitch not surprised as silenttex thought the same.

Monday Spent day at work playing with Excel charts - some times work can be fun! Cancelled planned date with Captain Jack Sparrow in favour of the attractions of home.

Tuesday Series end of CSI: Vegas, hated the last five minutes but then I keep hoping the sanctimonious Ms Sidle will get written out altogether! CSI: Miami next week - good news, I like settling down for a spot of grisly crime with silenttex of a Tuesday evening.

Wednesday Avenue Q - sheer, spectacular, musical comedy genius! A superb quality show, hugely enjoyable. If you're in London and can get hold of tickets (I got our lot from ticketmaster and lastminute), I definitely recommend you catch this show.

Thursday DVD bargain-tastic! 8 Ealing Comedies on DVD for £17.99!! I need to go back on Tuesday to swap the set though as I curently have two The Man In The White Suits and no Passport To Pimlico.

Friday: Day off work, fab lunch with cookwitch and picked up the new Kathy Reichs and the new Jasper Fforde books. I do like it when favourite authors publish books just as I have a long weekend planned (Monday off too), so kind of them.
