Late night rantings about nothing imparticular
I'm getting kinda sick of early morning phone calls. Yesterday, today, tomorrow...
Actually today's failed. I had asked Henry to call me after he got off the air this morning, so he called promptly at 9:20 (I missed it). 9:22 I called him back, and he was already out the door. GEEZ!!!
So tomorrow I have to set the exact date of going to PA. This whole process just seems to drag, and drag some more, and then drag even more... It's not like I haven't been on the ball with the matter, it just seems like there is nothing but one delay after another. Ugh this is so tedious! And I am getting so bored here. I mean, this vacation thing seemed pretty appealing at first, but you can only do nothing for so long. And I am definitely past that point.
Actually, I just want to get back on the air. It's kinda like an addiction that I have attained. back in my last couple months of living in Boston, the 3-Day stretch (technically it was 4, but Sundays were voicetracked) that I was on the air was what got me through the hardest parts of every week. I really can't wait to crack the mic again. Soon, hopefully.
A similar aingst has been surrounding other facets of my life that are now officially gone. I keep thinking to myself that maybe I can find a way to do some of them one more time. Its like I never really appreciated what they were to me, until they weren't there any more. And I don't have enough pictures. And I have too many passions that cannot co-exist with each other.
In lighter news tomorrow I am going to see the movie 300. I don't really know why I let myself get talked into it. It just looks like Bravehart without a plot. And really gorey movies do not sit well with me. During the latest instillation of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre I couldn't watch half the movie. At one point I had to get up and leave. I expect 300 to be along the same par.
And, in old news, Audioslave is broken up. Yes, the band created out of break-ups has indeed broken up. What is next-- an Audioslave-Smashing Pumpkins-Genesis combination?
Oh yeah, THATS RIGHT! GENESIS IS BACK TOGETHER WITH PHIL COLLINS, AND THEY ARE COMING TO CHI IN OCTOBER!!! Where do I sign up?
