Topic 1: Describe a dream you had as a child that has stayed with you
I had a dream of my father once.
When I was shipwrecked, thrown out into the depths of the ocean and offered up as a sacrifice to Davy Jones locker, I could still remember my father. The memory of him would never leave me but I lost the only thing that had of him so it was as if my father never existed. Yet I knew that he had. I was his flesh and blood, he had to have been real and so I dreamt him.
Night after night, I would wake shouting his name and clutching at air. All the while believing in the depths of my soul that my father was alive and had merely abandoned me but in my dreams it was different. He hadn't abandoned me, he'd been forced away and I held onto that small shred of hope to sustain me as I grew older and became a man.
I suppose you could say the dream of my father was better than the real thing because I had no father in real life and yet in my dreams he was always there for me.

Topic 2: If you could change one thing in history, what would it be and why?
There is much in history that requires changing but is it my place to decide what?
No, not really but I suppose we're all guilty of wanting things to swing another way because of the predicament we face in our present. If I could pick one thing I don't think I'd pick anything because the choices I made, the decisions that were set in stone and the place that I find myself is all through my own doing. This is my life and as ...mangled as it is, it's still my life.
If I changed anything, would I have met Jack? No, and sometimes I wonder if that's such a bad thing but maybe if I hadn't met him, I would never have told Elizabeth how I feel or even met my father on the Flying Dutchman. You see, every encounter and every decision you make has a direct affect on what happens in your life.
Before I met Jack I was a blacksmith's apprentice, when really I was the master and he the drunken lay about in the corner, but I digress. I'd change nothing because everything that's happened has made me who I am.
I happen to like me.
