Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile. The girl with kaleidoscope eyes....

I feel so lame. I didn't take ONE halloween pic and my madonna costume, not to be snobby, but it was to die for. Aghhhhh......
I'm just going to chalk it up to the fact that I was too busy living in the moment, i think?

Last Friday was awesome. Swede and I finally celebrated her 21st. Basically we just bar-hopped in Wrigleyville, but it was a blast. I also only spent half of the money I brought! Lucky us and bday shots, I guess. I think if I walked out of there spending $200 I would have been heartbroken. I did spend $170 to get Ida's car out of the impound...but she's paying me back. However, I think that's another story for another time =)

I didn't end up working Saturday, which was a relief after the night I had Friday. I was sooo exhausted and absolutely not in the mood to work. It was fun getting ready and I hung around the bar for about an hour waiting to see if they needed me, but they didn't so I bolted to NIU. Sadly, I wasn't really in the mood to drink either, which made most of the parties we went to pretty awkward. I also took off my costume seeing as it was so damn cold! I was really glad I got to hang out with Alex though. We pretty much took it upon ourselves to make sure Justin didn't die somewhere. He was so plastered. I think the best was when he passed out in the pee area at one party. Eew. Hahaha. He was unmanageable. Then after a few parties we took him back to the house and hung out with Mike, who had stayed behind. It wasn't a crazy night by any means (well, except for later when Andrew picked up the giant knife and started slashing the air), but it was really awesome just being around good friends.

I'm thinking really hard about University College London now. It's the 25th best school in the world. I think that sounds just peachy.

I'm really loving this semester at UIC. I actually do my work and my grades are reflecting it, which I'm really happy about. Well, kind of doing my work. I have good weeks and lazy weeks...haha...but overall I feel like I'm putting forth a damn good effort and still managing to keep my stress levels almost at zero.

"Living is easy with eyes closed,
Misunderstanding all you see.
It's getting hard to be someone,
But it all works out.
It doesn't matter much to me."

I love The Beatles. They're the only music I will listen to at the moment.

Oh, when I said I was no longer going to use contractions, as you can clearly tell, I was lying.
Hahahaha.
What was wrong with me?

Off to my movie date with my mom. I'm making her watch Pride and Prejudice, simply because I cannot get enough of it. Yay!
