I chose for Carol Danvers to go as Amelia Earhart because of their shared love for flying. They were both female pilots who not only had to fight prejudice against them for being women in their chosen field, but who also chose to fight for others, and tried to promote social justice. They were both incredibly brave, and if you continue their stories, they both disappear while flying.
On a less serious note, they both like leather jackets and can rock short hair. Yay for BAMF!female pilots!
