Well hello there! Old time LJ user, just returned from a long hiatus and am trying to figure everything out!

How did you find this community?: Pretty sure I just typed in gay in the find interests bar. Which means this community isn't doing too bad for itself!
Do you have any suggestions to improve itscalledpride?: hmm... maybe I'll reserve any helpful commentary to when I get a feel for the community a little better.

Are you out?: Yes, give or take a couple of people... some of whom I intend not to tell for a while, and some of whom I have just not gotten around to telling.
If so, what happened?: I'm very lucky to come from a Liberal and accepting househould, but like most coming out stories there is some loss of friendships... nothing huge though.
If not, whats holding you back?:
Are you happy with your choice?: Yes and no. I am so happy that I can have the freedom and power to step up and anounce where I am with my life, but the more I think of it, the more offensive and defining 'coming out' is. I mean, straight kids don't have to 'come out' as straight... I don't know... sometimes I feel like our society likes to label a little too much, you know?
