Jack in the Crack: Pita Snack Review
so jack in the box has been hyping up their pita snacks. i'm a fan of both pita and JITB, so it was an easy decision to make in eating one. i mean c'mon, i've seen that stupid commercial with the 2 grown men acting like babies cry for pita snacks. everyone's seen it. the commercial runs at least 100 times on FOX.
so after a long, strenuous day of studying for Ochem, i decided to finally try the hyped up pita snacks. sassy sent me a link that provided a "buy one pita snack, get one free" coupon. so immediately i printed it and drove to my local JITB.

wow, that looks nothing like the picture. where the hell did the lettuce go?
its okay. maybe the steak pita snack will be better.
very little lettuce can be seen.
the pita right off the bat looked unappetizing. there was little to no lettuce! in ads, the pitas clearly have lettuce in them. in fact, the chicken/steak/fish are practically shown wrapped in lettuce. my pita snacks clearly exhibit no wrapping of lettuce. false advertisement! also, the ads say that they put chipotle sauce in the pita. my pita was SWIMMING in chipotle sauce to the point where the pita just didn't taste that great. to make things worse, the pita itself was chewy. i was chewing so hard, my jaw began to ache. the only good thing about the pita snacks was when i was finished with it because the food item itself is just crap. if i had 2$ i wouldn't spend it on this pita junk. i'd rather go for 2 tacos for 99cents. hell, i wouldn't even feed my dogs this pita shit. jack in the box, step your game up. to me, the king of the fast food arena has and will always will be In-N-Out.
Pita snacks status: Hype
Verdict: don't even feed it to your dogs.
