Showtime
so friday night was the highly anticipated premiere of The Dark Knight. i watched it with the girlfriend, vicky and max. i had bought tickets off fandango ahead of time to avoid the lines. right when we arrived, we ate at hardrock cafe. i've never eaten there before. the restaurant was okay. nothing i've never seen. the music was a bit loud though. no wonder they call it hardrock cafe. blehhhhhhh

after dinner, we had 20 minutes before the movie started. right when we walked into the auditorium, all the good seats were taken. fortunately there was a balcony. we all ran up stairs but to no surprise, it was also full. our only resort was to sit in the best seats in the house...RIGHT in FRONT of the screen. i was pretty pissed about the seats.
its a good thing that the movie made up for the shitty seats. heath ledger's performance was epic. his portrayal of joker tops jack nicholson's. yeah, that's right. i said it! each time he's on-screen, its just pure brilliance. and i never knew joker was so intelligent as a villain. he's so psychotic and mental that...eh just watch the movie. its too good for me to spoil. christian bale was good too. although, i'll admit, he's voice can be sort of annoying when he's in the batman costume. i'm going to watch it again for sure, but this time i'll have better seats.
go see the dark knight. you'd be an idiot if you didn't.
