stale sour punch twists are amazing. also amazing is programming, which is very strange, especially since i have unending scorn for c++.
in other news, argentina got their asses handed to them by bolivia. what. the. fuck. it's because maradona didn't play aguero. maradona, you bitch.
i have no costuming news because i am right in the middle of stupid projects and or projects in which i have no confidence. also i didn't have the measurements for the friend from the previous entry and so i could not start on her wedding dress. bollocks. i did however, spend exorbitant amounts of money on buttons. all is not lost.
portal is an awesome game. i like that it's fairly laid-back but mentally challenging. i especially love the ai, that made the game for me. it was a little problematic, however, because my friend was the one actually playing, but i kept getting frustrated with him, cause i usually would know what to do when he didn't, so i kept having to steal the controller from him and do it for him. i quite like the don't drink the water sign, and i absolutely adore the military bots. it was, by the way, my idea to drop the previously incapacitated bots through the ceiling onto the active ones. :D my favorite though was one of the comments after facing a bot into a corner whereupon it says, 'i don't hate you.' i also like the little box with the hearts on it that you have to carry around for a level and then euthanize. i wish it had talked to us. :P
my air pollution homework is hard. <- i am bitching. i am also not doing it. instead i decorated a couple of the walls in my apartment. i'm still trying to figure out where everything is going to go. i wonder how my roommate would feel if i started putting up random pictures in the hallway? i quite like the idea of seeing resident evil 5, dead rising, god of war, and bioshock 2 pictures accosting me everytime i get to the top of the stairs. i'd probably get a similar reaction from her as from my mom when she stays over, which is somewhat to the effect of, 'i hate that everytime i roll over in your bed i come face to face with two men pointing guns at me.' but mother, fraternal twin irish assassins are so attractive!
so i was biking on monday morning and i fell off my bike in the driveway of a fire department. ass over tea kettle on my face. except that there was no face-ground contact (thank heavens)
much more painful by the time the numbness wore off. even much more painful when i applied liberal coatings of hydrogen peroxide, then iodine. iodine hurts like. a. bitch.
my cat and my dolls have made friends behind my back. please excuse molly for sitting on my victorian doll, she was trying to avoid a spider on my windowsill. that's why she's looking at it. duh. you don't need to excuse nazgul. she sits on everything she isn't supposed to.

gus grissom is my absolute favorite astronaut of all time, but jim lovell is pretty cool too.
