my back is very stiff from so much sewing the last few days

i started making an elizabethan corset tonight. i was putting on the mockup, and wondering why it was tight on my waist at the hips of the corset. then i realized that there are no hips. i make too many victorian corsets. the end. i've never made a corset this shape before, and i think it's going to really take me by surprise. apparently i'm a little narrow along the shoulder blades...go figure? and now that i have remembered i have a dressform, i think i'll go visit prunella. so far i have some pretty red fabric for it, but i'm not sure i'm going to use it, cause red is a pretty horrendous color on me. i also have some equally pretty pink, but it's not really what i have in mind.

also, japan and australia tied nil-nil in their world cup qualifier today. it was a good game but japan deserved to win it. and spain kicked england's ass because...england sucks and spain is the champion of europe. duh. those were the only games i paid attention to. sorry us men's national team.  ^.^
