I Gotta Job!

The past two days have been pretty uneventful. Uhm... I'm reading The A List which is good. Today I changed seats in my metals class; I'm not claustrophobic or anything, but the area around my desk was becoming increasingly crowded with black boys (except for the red head who tries his hardest to be black.) I moved to the desk beside the only other girl in the class... I never thought I'd want to be near estrogen, but now I find I'm glad there's other women in this world. I also have a nice new view of the classroom. Oh how I love people watching.

Today was the annual Honors Luncheon at Golden Corral. I ate with Rachel and Brittany and it was fun and my hamburger was actually good!

Also, I got a tutoring job today! There's this little boy at my mom's school who's father had to move back to India so his mom is taking care of everything back home (including their convenience store) and she doesn't have time to help him with his homework, so I'm helping him for an hour a day Monday through Friday for $6 an hour. That's $30 a week! It's not a lot, and I'll probably come home smelling like curry everyday, but it's certainly better than nothing.

I'm becoming a little concerned about a summer job. I would love the money and everything, but I have a lot I want to do this summer! There's Montreat, Camp Kolomoki, Warped Tour, and the family vacation (Mom booked a cabin at Grayton Beach today. I hope there's not just a bunch of fat old rich men there like in St. Augustine.) I think I just won't get one, and if I have a real job before summer, I may have to quit.

Mom also booked a hotel in Jacksonville for the SoCo concert that's goin down in 16 days!!! Speaking of concerts, yesterday Matt Taylor and I discovered that there actually is no From First to Last show in Atlanta (it's at the Masquerade in Tampa) and that you have to be 18 to attend the From First to Last show in Tallahassee, so looks like there's none of that for me. :( Oh well, it's allllll good.

Well, I have a shower to take and vocabulary to study!
