Let the Questing Begin.
My Mom passed away six years ago yesterday. It seems very surreal. When someone asks and you say, "My mom passed away six years ago," it doesn't sound like it's been very long.
It feels like it's been forever.
Funimation's re-release of the Paradise Kiss boxset should have hit stores yesterday. So far, my search has turned up very little. They're already backordered on the Best Buy website and at Amazon. I stopped by the Best Buy on Hall Rd. this morning with little luck, I also stopped by the Barnes & Noble in Rochester and she said they could order it... but it would be 1-3 weeks.
I knew I should have done the smart thing and pre-ordered it over at Amazon. Ugh.
I'm going to check the Best Buy near Shawn's house after class today and if I don't find it there.... maybe the Best Buy at Great Lakes Crossing?
I'll be sorely disappointed if I can't find it. I'd almost be willing to pay the way-overpriced prices at FYE to get that boxset in my grimy little hands.
Lots of Gurren Lagann to be found, however... but I'm waiting for the releases that include the dub (even if the dub is exceedingly disappointing).
Time for class.
