It's a barren planet. Not the first the Doctor's fetched them up on. But-
There's something about this place. Something that makes Jamie throw his arms around himself, trying to suppress the shiver that's crawling up his spine, as the Doctor falls to one knee beside him, fingers reaching for the bare earth.
He doesn't need the Doctor to tell him something dreadful happened here. An evil so widespread and terrible that the planet itself had finally been driven to rebel against its inhabitants. The notion blossoms fully formed inside his head and, this time, he allows himself to shiver.
