Seven hours into his incarceration Jack’s lost the feeling in his fingertips and his teeth are chattering so hard that, even if he does manage to free himself he’s not sure he’s going to make it past the guard-house without getting caught.
His hand slips from the lock he’s been working on, grazing the wall, and he bites his lip so as not to let rip with a string of expletives.
What makes it worse is he just knows the Doctor would have been out of here in a second because, of course, the sonic screwdriver never, ever, gets confiscated.
