I bought a wireless mouse (with a nano-USB dongle (hee, dongle)) a while back... I forgot how old this is, but my guess is 1-2 years.
Lost the cover to the battery part, but that's fine. Still usable.
Today, I lost the USB nano dongle and I have no idea where to even begin to look for that tiny thing.
I went out to replace it, but the store I bought it at (CD-R King) is out of stock. My budget was around PhP250 (~$6.5), the price I bought the original mouse at. Pretty cheap, really. They have wired ones but I really don't want to deal with the hassle of wires anymore, plus those break a lot faster from my experience. I looked at a different shop, and they were at PhP 450-1000 (~$12-$26).
I have a manuscript to finish editing and using my trackpad makes my wrist/arm pain worse. I end up doing this bizarre 90-degree motion... just... no.
*weep*
I guess I will wait it out and buy a new one (and be a lot more careful not to lose the USB dongle) whenever I can drop by the other mall not too far from us. I have lots of stuff I want to buy from there, anyway. I would today but I'm still exhausted from hiking this weekend and I need all the energy I have left to finish editing this manuscript.
If I had it my way, I'd use a mouse with bluetooth, but I just tried computing how much an Apple Magic Mouse is (since the iMac at the office uses one). It's $70 (PhP 2800) and just... hahahaha nope.
