the promised long-ass update.

let's break this down day by day, shall we?

THURSDAY
All American Rejects and Hoobastank show. I went for free. it actually all started out at the Edge earlier on in the day. originally I had planned on not going. but then leafangel55 made up my mind for me and decided that I was going. instead of getting just one free ticket, I got four. so I gave one to my friend Erin and this girl that I met there who's name I forgot. my camera battery was dying and I prayed that it wouldn't die out during the middle of the Rejects. so I had to get a picture with Tyson quickly. and I got one with Nick too. I'm claiming his Muppet tattoo. end of discussion. then me, girl I met, princessbatman and Debbie went to Burger King and then back to the Edge fore Three Days Grace. the stupid battery died there. we are not amused. so I had to buy an all new battery, then headed to the Docks and cut in line. huttah. Diffuser was excellent. I can't wait till the next time they come back to town. Ozomatli was... different. I just can't see myself getting into their music though. Hoobastank were awesome, although I strongly disagree with the shirt: bowling does not suck. when I scan in my pics I'm fucking editing that shirt and making it say 'bowling rules'. REJECT!!!! yay. good times were had by all. except for when I was getting ass raped by that girl behind me. I met Diffuser after the show. the lead singer signed my shoe. then we cabbed it to the Greyhound station because Erin had to get her luggage.

FRIDAY
I got to Hamilton around 3:30 because of the stupid school orientation (my schedule rocks!). but I cut in line because Jenn and Raven let me. there was this one girl who cut infront of people because her "sister" was lost when really, she "had to get up front". bitch. they let us in early, and made us sit down once we got in. what the fuck was that all about? not even five minutes of being there Jenn and I decided that we hated Copps Coliseum. then we stood up and the pushing commenced. I got pulled out before the show even started. I wasn't hurt though. I just wanted out. the security guards were struggling getting me over and one of them smarmily said "having fun, sweetpea?". I FUCKING HATE BEING CALLED SWEETPEA!!!! so I sarcastically replied "oh yeah. I'm having a fucking blast.". bastard. Mest had a giant inflatable Homer Simpson on stage. that WILL be mine. even if I have to put it in my back yard. after Mest I found Jenn and we went and got water and danced during SoCo. I think I may have sent them a subliminal message because I said they should play Konstantine and they played it right after I said it. GC... they were awesome. they played everything off of the Young and Hopeless (including Emotionaless, and I never thought they'd play that). and some old songs, which made me happy because at the Arrow Hall, they only played one and that made me sad. and again, Jenn and I danced around like the short bus kids that we are. my only problems of the night were the shrieking of disgruntled Backstreet Boys fans who migrated over because they're on "hiatus" and the amounts of small children that were in attendance. I havn't seen that many parents with their kids at a concert since my mom took me to see the New Kids On the Block when I was 8. it was disgusting. and if I remember correctly, there was this parent that had her kid that had to be no older than 4 up at the front. DO YOU HAVE A FUCKING DEATH WISH FOR YOUR CHILD OR WHAT???? seriously folks, the pit is NOT for small children. also, I wanted to stab my eyes out with a spork for seeing so many kids with the Benji makeup, the 12 year old girls walking around in clothes that looked like they came right out of the Mary-Kate and Ashley section of Wal-Mart, the signs that you bring to a Backstreet Boys concert and all the girls that were dressing like little skanks. two important decisions were made last night: one of them being that I am never going to another show at Copps Coliseum. the other being that this was definately going to be the last Good Charlotte show I ever go to. at least until the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync come out with a new CD and all the teenies will migrate back over to them because simply, they've ruined it for me.

SATURDAY
another free show for Kristen. Simple Plan and Not By Choice. I waited at the Edge all day and only Chuck and Pierre showed up. boourns I say. then me, other Jenn, Mary, soupalosa_c, Tammy and Greg all walked over to the Phoenix. I missed the first song from Not By Choice. dammit. the new songs were great. can't wait till the next album. then Simple Plan came out. got up front, but more off to the side so my pictures will probably turn out like shit. they're new song Crash and Burn was fucking awesome. and now I have to wait until the DVD comes out because that's where you'll be able to hear it. unless it gets leaked out on the net. nonetheless, those kids never fail to please me. then we waited by the bus for two hours. and then I went home because I was cold.

end of long ass post.
