Hump Day in review

Another Wednesday, another hump day, just another day...

Since our last installment nothing much has really happened. On Tuesday I got my midterm back for my Global Politics class, got a B-, not bad considering I completely forgot an essay question (major brain fart). Skipping class on Thursday (working audit 11pm-7am) too tired to set through class and try to stay awake.

My new cartridge box and sling arrived in the mail, the guys I bought it from said like new, well let me just say I do not think it has been used once!!! I am very happy with my purchase.

Went to Chuckles for wings on Wed night, decent turnout, Z, Laurie, Dutchy, Kanigg, Tom, Burk, Charles, and myself. Talked about the usual things...including a horrific story involving cops, angeldust, and nut sacks...needless to say every guy got sick to their stomachs and held onto their manhood. Also got into a mini discussion about the authenticity of afghans (the blankets not the nationality) basically would soldiers have carried them on the field; because I will be sporting one as an extra blanket this weekend!!! 30 degree lows, and a burn ban in Gburg means COLD! I will also bust out a few "modern" blankets as well, no use getting sick this early in the reenacting season, especially considering it is only drill. Def be some spooning this weekend, I already claimed my heat source...TOM!! Speaking of burn bans I need to bring my little coleman camping grill so we can cook this weekend, it is not much, but it gets the job done.

Did some research for this weekend...Tom I found a really good article on seasonal foods and also some good info about doing Irish impressions! I am anxious for the weekend, see people I haven't seen in a while, etc. Ginder is coming back out into the hobby on a limited basis because he has a family, but still it will be great to have "Smooth" back out in the field. He is not the smartest guy in the world, but he will give the shirt off his back if you need it.
