Happy New Year
Happy New Year...
So Saturday night I got off work at 5:30 and bolted over to Tom's for the New Year's Party. Took care of some details involving the unit and then partied like Tigers would party...HARD!!! Tom got a keg of Beck's...good call!! After many hours of drinking a few of us were still drinking when it was kicked around 3am. Rang in the New Years with my friends, who are pretty much family, so it was a blast. Hugs, Kisses, hand shakes, and wishes went around the room. After some unfortunate babysitting duties that Z and I were blessed with I sobered up and drove home to sleep in my own bed, finally retiring a little after 6am.
Sunday I recovered for a few hours and went into work, somehow making it through my entire shift without falling asleep. After work I stopped by Casa Richter to say good bye to Porter one last time before he headed back to Arizona.
Monday, I slept till about noon, got up downloaded a crap load of music and watched football. Then showered got dressed and headed over to Tom's. Ordered some pizza and watched the Fiesta Bowl with Tom and Knight. We played a little poker afterwards. Then headed to work and played some more poker with James, Angela, and Jon till about 3am. Now I am typing this thing...5:38 am...sooooo tired. I think I am getting sick, my throat was on fire when I woke up this morning, I better not be though...Penn State game is tonight, going to watch it with Z and Laurie...hoepfully my parents can make it out as well for at least the first half, but who knows they work hard and sometime by the time they get home it is already 6:30-7pm...especially my mom...I would hate to have her job, very stressful and very fast paced.
One last thing...pray for those miners in West Virginia...and the people in Texas and Oklahoma who are dealing with those wild fires. This not the way to start a New Year
