R-Day
Well this weekend was awesome. Friday Tom and I left in the morning for Gburg and got there around 11:30 and ate lunch, decided to do some things out in the field and found that they had cleared trees around where the Texans and Georgians fought on the second day of the battle. We met Cheryl and checked into our room, and basically veged for a few hours. Went to the Gman at 4pm, and started drinking and drinking and drinking...you get the picture. Everyone started rolling into town and the bar. Kannig, Laurie, Z, Mel, Richter, Sav, Nipples, Traci, Sarah, Capasso, Hammy, Andrew, JV, Dutchy, Dull, Jesse, Matt, Denise, Lydic, and a host of guys from Vinnie's Brigade were also hanging with us in honor of the memory of Horns Rielly. After Gman, went to the hotel and slept.
Got up Saturday had a cool ceremony honoring the 6th at East Cemetery Hill. Then went out to breakfast, and got ready for the parade, which was mainly a hurry up and wait type thing. The parade was good. Later that night we ate at dinner as a unit, with few interesting moments ended up chilling with Lydic, Charles, Joe, and Dull for a while, and left around midnight and went to bed.
Sunday got some cool pics taken, made reservations for mudbowl weekend, and basically screwed around eventually eating dinner with Tom, Dutchy, Sarah, Capasso, Laurie, and Z. All and all a awesome weekend.
Might be getting more hours in at work, a couple of people are leaving so this hopefully will allow me to get some more shifts, which I need.
